Interac e-Transfer

All about Interac e-Transfer. With ATB’s email money transfer service—Interac e-Transfer—you can quickly and securely send and receive money from anyone with a Canadian bank account. All you need is an email address and an ATB Online banking account.

?What is an Interac e-Transfer?

Interac e-Transfer is a secure email money transfer service provided by ATB Financial. The service allows anyone with an ATB bank account and an ATB Online account to send or receive money almost instantly from their online or mobile banking.

No money is actually sent through email, and you don’t need to share personal or financial information. In fact, as long as the receiver has a Canadian bank account, all you need to know is their name and email address.

Why use Interac e-Transfer to send money?

Whether you’re paying soccer fees, chipping in for pizza, or sending a gift to a relative in another province, sometimes it’s not convenient (or safe) to send cash or a cheque. Interac e-Transfer allows you to send and receive money in a secure, password-protected environment.
